We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Sustainability & Compliance to lead and manage compliance across our vertically integrated textile operations, including Spinning, Weaving, Processing, Yarn Dyeing, and Stitching units. The role ensures adherence to international standards, social compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks, while overseeing audits and certifications.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader with expertise in social, environmental, and regulatory compliance within export-oriented textile operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance policies across all manufacturing units
- Ensure compliance with international buyer requirements and standards such as BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, Higg Index, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, Inditex, ZDHC, ISO standards, and other global compliance frameworks
- Manage social compliance audits and internal corrective action plans (CAPs)
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health & safety, and environmental regulations
- Coordinate with Production, HR, EHS, and Management teams
- Maintain documentation, certifications, and audit records
- Conduct compliance training and ensure readiness for audits and buyer visits
- Monitor and report compliance performance to senior management
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Textile Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Management, or related field
- 10–15 years of experience in textile compliance; 5+ years in a managerial role
- Hands-on experience with international buyer audits and certifications
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, environmental standards, and workplace safety
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
- Experience in export-oriented textile organizations is preferred
